Philosophy 1105: Self and World: Introduction To Philosophy

What is real? What is human being? How can we know any of these things? This course is a survey of the major approaches to philosophical problems, especially those of the nature of reality, human nature, and conduct. Students will both be introduced to the study of philosophy and develop skills in creative inquiry and critical reasoning.
