Introduction to a standardized formulation of energy conversion processes in electrical machines including the review and modeling of ac machines. Introduction to reference frame theory, modeling machines in rotational frames, and vector drive of ac machines. Introduction to a variety of topological, sensors, and tools used in practical motor drives. Taking steps to an experimental implementation of a vector-controlled ac drive.
