IST 5551: Foundations of Computing and Programming for Data Science

An introduction to contemporary computer programming and development with the application focus in the analysis of data in business context. This course aims to provide an overview of the fundamental knowledge and skills needed for advancing in the areas of information science and technology. Topics include introduction to computing, basic programming instructions, relational databases, and graphical representation of information and data.
