Mech Eng 5543: Energy Efficiency of Vehicles
Course topics include the energy consumption, energy efficiency, pollution and carbon emissions of vehicles. Energy efficiency models are developed to illustrate how to optimize the energy efficiency of vehicles. Detailed models are developed for gasoline, diesel, electric and hybrid-electric cars and trucks.
