Advanced instruction in theory and practice of qualitative and quantitative description of spatial relationships of rock types in areas exhibiting complex deformation. Emphasis on experiential learning where students plan, implement, and reflect on outcomes for several scientific field campaigns in a manner consistent with professional scientific practices. Students will be charged a fee to cover the cost of field trip expenses.
