You are encouraged to apply to continue with your master’s degree program during the last semester of your graduate certificate program.
Be prepared to have the materials ready to be uploaded/entered once you start the application. If you are unable to have all materials ready when applying, you can still start the application and save it. S&T will be unable to process your application without having the requirement documents. Please call or email the Office of Global Learning (573-341-6591) with any questions or concerns about the process.
*Please be sure to include your Missouri S&T Institutional Data when filling out your certificate to master's application. You can upload an unofficial S&T Transcript into your application. An unofficial transcript can be requested through Joe’SS, here's a step-by-step tutorial.
2-3 paragraphs explaining why you are applying for this program. You will copy and paste your statement into the text box provided on the "Statement of Purpose" section of the application.

Note: some departments (engineering management, computer science) will accept the names of faculty members to be used as recommenders. This information may be uploaded under the "Portfolio" section of the application, or at the bottom of your statement of purpose.
Some programs require a resume when applying. Check with your department’s requirements to see if this applies to you. Upload your resume in the "Portfolio" section of your application. PDF or JPG file formats are preferred.
