Complete the Online Application. When you start your application, select "Graduate Online/Distance."

2-3 paragraphs explaining why you are applying for this program.  You will copy and paste your statement into the text box provided on the "Statement of Purpose" section of the application. 

Unofficial transcripts are sufficient for an admit decision.

Upload your transcripts on the online application under the "Institutional Data" section. PDF scans are preferred. Missouri S&T requires official transcripts from all schools attended before a student may register for a second semester. In order for a transcript to be counted as official, it must be sent directly from the school to Missouri S&T. It cannot come directly from a student.

GRE/GMAT scores are required of all PhD applicants, even for students who may have started with a graduate certificate. All academic departments accept GRE scores. The Business and IST departments also accept GMAT scores.

Missouri S&T’s GRE Test Center Code is: 6876.

Upload your unofficial GRE/GMAT scores under the "Test Scores" section of your application.

Missouri S&T requires official GRE/GMAT scores before a student may register for a second semester. 

You will list three recommenders in the "Recommendations" section of the application. They will receive an email informing them of your request. If they have not responded within a specific time frame, they will receive an email reminder. 

Some programs require a resume when applying. Check with your department’s requirements to see if this applies to you. Upload your resume in the "Portfolio" section of your application.  PDF or JPG file formats are preferred.
